Rite of Passage!

I'm an uncomplicated person who has had many rites of passage in my life, it's something I seek out. I learn through experiences, (good or bad). I believe our modern, busy, and comfortable lifestyles have helped us to loose touch with the special abilities that we all have inside of us.

I have traveled the world to seek out, and learn from, and train with teachers, from many modalities. Teachers that are learned.

Whether it was in Martial arts, which I started when I was nine years old, and I continued to do, destroying my body well into my forties. Working as a P.T. trying to heal the damage I had incurred by learning corrective exercise, and at the same time trying to help others on the same road to recovery.

My greatest hobby is to research, so I poured through so much material, I even started writing a book about the simple things we can do with self care, for healthcare.  I came across Wim Hof, then I’m an instructor, (the short version). I started to see people breathing dysfunctionally while doing the WHM, next step along the research road, I found Patrick McKeaown the writer and practitioner of the worldwide best seller in 16 languages The Oxygen Advantage, I’m an instuctor.

However on this road I discovered I have trauma, held for 50 years dealing with breath holds. By chance a friend has a course at his gym called Survival Apnea dealing with breathing under stress, I go and meet Jason Rice who helps me deal initially with the problem, I also do some therapy on the subject. I then do another 1 day with Jason and sign up for his instructor course, which I nearly didn’t go to because of the trauma still influencing my training and decisions. I passed thanks to Jason, an I’m an instructor.

My rite of passage this time wasn't to suffer, (even though there was some) it was to understand connection, inside and out, consciousness. I have seen deeper into people, and have felt more, by learning these methods.

I believe, it is important to help people navigate the way out of their daily trap of life, that they have set for themselves. I am here to empower and support them in this navigation! I’m just a person who has always been searching, maybe you have too! I also love to help people that ask for my help. It’s okay for us all to accept a helping hand.
